ビクトリアの街をお散歩♪

今日は、友達と半年ぶりの再会♪チャプターズで待ち合わせしたんだけど、半年ぶりに会って髪の毛が伸び過ぎてたマチコを認識出来ず、素通りしようとした所、マチコに止められました(笑)

再会を祝って、すぐにお買い物へ〜☆スカーフ＆ピアスを購入♥品物の写真は後日〜！
その後、ビクトリアのダウンタウンをブラブラ〜っとしました。

そして、いつもいつも通り過ぎてた教会に入ってみたよ。マチコも言ってたけど、心が洗われました☆杖をつきながら、ドアを一人で開けるのにも時間がかかるようなおばあちゃんの、教会に来て熱心にお祈りしている姿を見たら、自分のおばあちゃんを思い出した。国は違っても、神様、仏様にお祈りする姿は同じでした。

この後、更にマチコと街を歩き続け、約2年間住んでいたFairfieldエリアに辿り着き、いつもの場所、Happy Placeに行きました。Happy Placeで小さくて奇麗なビクトリアの街を見下ろしながら、ビールとお菓子をいただいて、気持ちをリフレッシュしました☆
懐かしい交差点↓購入したスカーフ〜↓ピアスの入った箱。リボンが可愛い♪ここで、おじーちゃん＆みどりから電話があり、ダウンタウンで集合〜♪美味しいイタリアンラザニアいただきました。

Had such a great day today. I met up with Machiko at Chapters, finally!!!!! She was a girl who almost became my roomie. Anyways I am glad that we kept in touch with each other and became good friends* We went for shopping and got a pretty scarf and earrings* I am so STOKED!!! Then we went inside a church,, how random,,, walked around fairfield area which brings me a lot of memories. I had lived there for about 2 years. The store, Ross bay cemetery, even the houses look so familiar,, I could walk with my eyes closed. Everything looked the same but at the same time it made me realize that I am grown and at a different place. All is in the memories and past. Time never stops even tough you wish the good moment to live for ever. Oh what a refreshing walk I had. And then we met up with grampa kick & Midori and went for Italian. Oh was a very good day.
